Key Account Manager
Current Servicing existing accounts, obtain orders, and establishment of new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors. Adjust content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor. Submit orders by referring to price lists and product availability. Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses. Monitor competitors by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc. and applying SWOT analysis to formulate strategies for improving sales. Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments. Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management. Contribute to team effort by achieving related results as needed. Evaluating customer needs and requirements and using this information for best solutions and as the negotiating points to find the best fit for both parties. Research Potential new markets with no business activity, gather relevant data which will be used to start new business opportunities identified from analyzing data and compiling action plans.
