I am the overall responsible for a proprietary warehouse management system at Michelin. I am a certified Scrum.org Professional Scrum Product Owner 1 (PSPO1). I lead the development of new releases of the software coordinating a scrum team spread across 3 cities in 2 countries. I manage and arbitrate all the incoming requests from users in more that 50 sites world wide, the leadership of Michelin and our various product lines, external compliance auditors, and the technical teams responsible for the overall systems architecture.

OPE Upstream is a continuous improvement program for Michelin's semi finished products. I work with Michelin factories across North America to integrate Warehouse management, Product Lifecycle Manatement, and Supply Chain solutions into existing processes.

My roll as progress planner focuses on continuous improvement with focusing on supply chain. My core tasks are the installation and deployment of a new site wide scheduling and traceability system, implementation of supply chain best practices, and serving as the back up to the Master Planner and the Planning Manager. (And training the new teams in shutdown procedures).

This was a job that started from a request for help, my manager volunteering my services and a2 month commitment evolving into a full time job. The mission was to bridge from the legacy planning system to a Michelin standard solution to be launched in Q4 2013. To complete my project I linked multiple data sources together to create a collection of electronic kanban systems. The systems linked all the processes to the bottleneck process (curing in this case). A side requirement during this time was the coordination of plant shutdowns. I was able to reduce the scrap generated by a shutdown by 91.5%. That reduction changed not only the knowledge of what was possible, but changed the expectations of the company. The results were sustained over 4 shutdowns and established 4 consecutive records for plant shutdown scrap.

My roll as an Area IE added many new experiences. I was responsible for calculating the monthly results results for the Scorecard review with the product line, translating the forecast for into the 2012 Annual Plan, and Championing a process improvement event to boost productivity in a slitting operation.

As a Project IE, my focus was on work post optimization. My initial work centered around a process involving a 7 member team. The project focused on increasing Overall Equipment Efficiency and job design.

I completed a variety of projects at DHS. Most of my work centered around facility layout and design. My favorite project was an ergonomics problem that resulted in a 2 axis rotating welding fixture. Other projects included monorail load/unload systems, relocating sub assembly workstation to be line side. I also worked on Lean implementation.
