Currently pursuing a BFA in Interior Design with a minor in Preservation Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design. My educational journey has been aided by the experience I have been able to acquire in and around the world of interior design. My internship with Charles H Chewning Interiors has immersed me in the world of high end interior design, giving me the opportunity to see how a small firm functions on a day to day and vastly grow my experience. It has allowed me to gain experience in all elements of the design process from space planning to material sections. I also gained experience in project management, client communication & presentation, employee management, and vendor relationship building. Through the retail store that is connected to the design studio "Courtyard Lifestyle" my experience has grown in the areas of visual merchandising, sales, social media, graphic design, management, and photography. Although I am lucky to continue to hold and find a great position with Charles H Chewning Interiors my past positions with Crate&Barrel as the youngest "Design Expert" in the company being only eighteen years old helped jump start my career in the design field. This helped re-assure me that my lifelong passion for interior design was the perfect career path and steer me toward attending the Savannah College of Art and Design. The position helped me build experience in high-end sales, interior decoration, client relationships, and management experience.
