As an Engineer Analyst/Senior Drafter, I was responsible for drafting and design of mechanical, electrical and steel fabrication drawings for repair and renovation and new work throughout the company's various power generation plants. Mechanically, I developed detailed shop drawings for mechanical shafts, mechanical parts, engine and turbine prop stands and structural platforms utilizing Inventor and AutoCAD. These projects required input and integration with the company’s machine shop. Most times these parts were generated from the reverse engineering that I performed. This reverse engineering was done because manufactures often refuse to provide drawings for their equipment. I utilized a FARO Arm in making 3D models that are imported into Inventor. By me doing this in-house reverse engineering, it saved the company money. I also performed site surveys prior to and during project completion. Additionally, I provided a leadership/teaching role at my company, providing seminars and mini training sessions on how to be efficient within AutoCAD and Inventor.

Responsibilities: As a CAD Operator/Drafter, I am responsible for drafting and design of mechanical, electrical and steel fabrication drawings for repair and renovation and new work throughout the companies various power generation plants. Mechanically, I develop detailed shop drawings for mechanical shafts, mechanical parts, engine and turbine prop stands and structural platforms utilizing Inventor. These projects require input and integration with the company’s machine shop. Electrical tasks include, creating one-line diagrams for substations and switching stations, loop diagrams, schematics, homeruns, panel schedules, conduit layouts and lighting plans. I am also responsible for doing site surveys prior to and during project completion. I also provide a leadership/teaching role at my company, providing seminars and mini training sessions on how to be efficient within AutoCAD and Inventor.

Responsibilities: As a Senior CAD Operator, I was responsible for site surveys, design and layout for the replacement of BG&E’s existing gas distribution system within Baltimore City utilizing Microstation. This position required the ability to understand and read the 100 year old drawings provided by BG&E and incorporate the existing gas distribution system into CAD. And verify the accuracy with field walk downs and surveys.
