Class Underwriter for the Ports and Terminals (PD/BI/Liability) global account. Responsibilities extend to management of delegated authorities, monitoring of aggregate exposures, reporting to the Managing Agent/Active Underwriter and the production of new business to both the syndicate and Lloyd’s through extensive marketing and travel.

Employed to help set up, develop and underwrite a new class of business for the syndicate (Physical loss or damage and associated Business Interruption for Ports and Terminals/Marine Property). Further responsibilities included portfolio management, monitoring of aggregate exposures, reporting to the managing agent/Active Underwriter and the production of new business to both the syndicate and Lloyd’s through extensive marketing and travel.

Employed to support Senior Underwriter and develop Ports and Terminals book of business, with particular focus on Asia Pacific. Responsibilities included monitoring of aggregate exposures, monthly reporting to capacity providers, premium accounting, networking through close client/broker relationships and International travel.

Graduate employee brought in to support the Marine Special Projects Team. Involved in the broking and handling of marine liability, property, sub-sea cables and equipment, hull and marine construction accounts.
