Christopher lives a rather nomadic professional life. Upon graduation, he took it onto himself to be a school teacher, connecting with teenagers from 13-17 years old and teaching them English. Afterwards, he moved to Bali for a marketing stint at a local hotel, further developing his skills and making use of his communication degree. Part-timing as a media planner before graduating with a master degree in China, he took a dip in the media industry and learned how to build rapport and negotiate. Chris was part of JD Digits (formerly known as JD Finance) ground team in managing the strategic development for the Indonesian market, particularly in regards with the development of electronic money, mobile payment, and payment gateway. He then led a team of PMO executives for JD.ID, where he manages company projects both internal and external, as well as providing value in the form of market research and business intelligence.Chris is currently a senior knowledge analyst for Boston Consulting Group, specifically covering technology, media, and telecommunications in Southeast Asia.Having spent half his life in education and the tech landscape, Chris is passionate about research, teaching, and strategic development in tech.
