After completing intensive training at the Wood Group Design Academy prior to June 2012, I gained further experience as part of a work-based apprenticeship in the Runcorn design office; completing a variety of design deliverables as part of the EOG Conwy project, for the Douglas Platform in the Irish Sea. Comprising the installation of a new Hang-off Module and LER at opposite corners of the platform, this project allowed me to gain valuable draughting experience covering a broad range of deliverables in the areas of instrumentation, electrical, telecoms and fire & gas using AutoCAD and RasterCAD. In order to broaden my experience, I joined the Shell ISC contract in mid-2014 where I have been able to expand on my draughting expertise; producing a similar range of deliverables using Microstation, IRASB and EDS. This work has covered the installation of new and replacement equipment spanning several assets including Anasuria, Gannet, Shearwater and Nelson; as well as decommissioning work in the Brent field.
