As a Social Media Specialist at WeTheHobby, I create and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement for a leading online platform for sports cards enthusiasts. I leverage my skills in graphic design and video production to create captivating and relevant content for sports fans across the world. I also contribute to the development of impactful marketing campaigns and partnerships with influencers. I started in social media by creating an Instagram account in 2016, with the handle @DallasCowboysSquad. I have grown the account to over 94,000 followers by providing engaging content to Dallas Cowboys fans. I have had the privilege of growing relationships with NFL insiders, athletes, and built business connections with apparel companies. In addition to my role at WeTheHobby, I am a Contributing Writer for Blogging the Boys, a widely popular Dallas Cowboys site under SB Nation. I write weekly articles, record podcasts, and collaborate with renowned sports personalities in the industry. Through this experience, I have enhanced my writing skills, honed my AP Style, and expanded my network and reputation among Cowboys fans and insiders. I graduated from University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2023 with a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies. During my studies, I interned at ESPN Charlotte's 730 The Game, where I learned how to use Adobe Audition, run the soundboard, and talk on air with former Carolina Panthers player Al Wallace. I also attended ACC Media Day and interviewed coaches and players from the conference. I am passionate about sports media and social media, and I aspire to grow and learn in this field.
