QA & QC Lab Operations: Manage all functions of the plant labs including raw material, in process, and finished goods testing Analytical Materials Testing: Perform a variety of tests of materials using various testing tools and methodsResponsible for compliance with ISO procedures.Auditing Procedures: Conduct series of audits throughout the production, packaging, material handling, quality evaluation, and shipping processesCustomer Complaints: Responds to and makes recommendations for preventive measures regarding the resolution and prevention of Customer ComplaintsFirst Pass Quality: Demonstrate leadership in the area of first pass quality in an effort to minimize waste and maximize plant efficiency. This includes technician training, process auditing, and recommendations to management on best practicesWarehouse Management: Work with other team members to ensure systems and processes are in place to maintain finished goods integrity within the warehouses and that inventory accuracy is maintained at 98%Minerals Process Testing: Manage all personnel and activities related to the testing of mineral and metals samples taken.New Specification review: Interact with Sales & Marketing on new product specificationsQA Database: Maintain a working database that functions as the cornerstone of the Quality Department able to maintain customer specifications, raw material data, testing on finished products and sieve sizes. Database also able to issue Certification of Analysis to our various customers.
