CurrentWorking with a group of talented engineer I am responsible for managing and coordinating the design and construction of ballastless track projectsKey Projects:Metrolinx Davenport Diamons Extension: Construction of 1,2km of Ballastless Track in TonrontoBarking Riverside Extension Project. Design and ConstructionAs deputy CRE for design I worked to deliver the FormB and F003 for a 3.4km of Porr Slab Track Austria as part of the BRE Project. The project consists of 711 precast elements of 90 variants on the new 1.7km viaduct structure, the first STA precast S&C scissors crossover which utilises a new fastening system and with use the latest hydraulic POE.Key points in the design are: Track-Bridge Interaction; new precast element S&C solution; 3D model work and interfacing with civils, track and signalling disciplines.Construction CRE for the BRE team my role was to disseminate the design to the construction team, support/develop methodologies, WPPs, programmes, etc and ensure that project is constructed as per specified and detailed in the design with a focus quality. Previous Projects:Kings Cross Remodelling, Gasworks Tunnel Track Reinstatement, Client: Network Rail (Northern S&C Alliance), 2017-19.I supported the co-ordination of GRIP 4 - 5 designs for the ballastless track, including precast concrete type Slab Track Austria (STA) for plain line and Sonneville LVT booted block and bearer solution for S&C. The project also involved transition zone and vibration mitigation solutions. Northern Line Extension, Step Plate Junctions Track Installation, Client: Ferrovial-Laing O’Rourke (FLO) / London Underground (Transport for London), 2018Final commissioning and snagging activities following installation work of the two ballastless track turnouts in Sonneville LVT booted block system, and with Delkor baseplates. Activities comprised surveying, shimming and engineering supervision of minor concrete repair works.
