Lead Sonar Technician
Current-Led a team of fifteen junior personnel through rigorous training, certification, and fast paced dynamic operations, resulting in over forty-five qualifications and advancement for twelve sailors, meeting all deadlines for watch bill requirements.-Supervised sonar operations during multiple submarine tracking scenarios, overseeing personnel in a high-stress environment during various anti-submarine warfare events and prioritizing key milestones.-Oversaw divisional operations, including the execution of rigorous tests, drills, and maintenance procedures for sonar systems, directly contributing to system reliability and readiness for at-sea performance assessments.-Managed a watch bill for one hundred sailors across two crews, ensuring adequate staffing during maintenance availability periods, while multi-tasking to prioritize scheduling needs and regularly communicating progress to leadership and team members.-Served as control room supervisor, managing day-to-day submarine operations,maintenance, and drills.-Developed and implemented comprehensive quality assurance plans for submarine systems and components, ensuring compliance with military standards and operational readiness through rigorous inspections and testing procedures achieving timely completion of tasks.-Awarded Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (2) and Sailor of the Quarter (4th Quarter CY 2023).
