Negotiating documentation for, and providing support to, various business groups focusing on financing or derivatives transactions in commodity, foreign exchange, fixed income and energy products.

- Providing compliance support to funds management, commodities, equities;-Drafting and implementing policies (e.g., Title VII of Dodd-Frank, SEC Rule 506 and FINRA Supervision Rules);- Advising on local regulatory requirements related to local and global business initiatives/expansions;- Anti-Money Laundering/Financial Crimes Compliance

- Coordinating with AML Compliance on new requirements and complex transactions/counterparty structures to advise and educate Client On-Boarding teammates; - Amending policies and procedures to conform with new processes required under new regulations;- Liaising with clients and undertaking research to fulfill due diligence requirements of new and existing High Risk counterparties;

- Drafting research memoranda for, and editing drafts of, scholarly articles authored by Prof. Cheng (focusing primarily on International Law and related issues);- Locating and organizing all research materials as well as editing the text and citations of Prof. Cheng's most recent book, When International Law Works.
