Over my life I have been fortunate enough to experience many things, over six years of project/product management and leading small/medium size international teams, but most recently being a firefighter in a rapidly growing metropolitan area. These experiences have made me a well rounded individual that can relate and speak with end users, that may not understand technology, highly skill developers and C-Level executives alike. Being able to seamlessly maneuver between these worlds allows me to break down complex problems that a client might be facing and translate them to any team that needs to be involved. Additionally, any project that I am working on, or leading, I like to be involved in every step. I take the time to understand what the team is working on so I can better grasp any roadblocks that they encounter. It is incredibly important to me that my team knows that I have their backs and will “go to bat” for them. I want to work with my team, not to ever feel like a team is working for me.
