Duties include all aspects of maintenance on our fleet of approximately 200 units. We currently have 5 different manufacturers of bucket trucks and Altec Digger Derricks. I also maintain and repair various pieces of line equipment, our cable television division, water production and distribution equipment and spend part time at our power plant location maintaining our line of heavy equipment. Duties also include ordering parts from various vendors, scheduling work load, communicating maintenance needs to department supervision, and vendor interaction required to work through mechanical challenges. Assume most day to day duties of supervisor when he is not here.

Welder/Line ProductionIn my time at Case I worked on the 580 backhoe assembly line and later moved into the 1150 crawler chassis weld area. In the welding areas I used a mig welder to assemble frame components. Later I was assigned the task of cylinder repair using a tig welder.

Duties included all aspects of fleet maintenance including large component tear down and rebuild. In this capacity we also were responsible for the crushers, belt lines, mine shaft, and all other facilities below ground. Acted as relief supervisor when normal supervisor was off of work.

In this capacity I ran equipment during the summer months and performed body repair and painting in the winter months.
