Responsible for Start-up and maintenance operations to support a 200,000 square foot plant expansion that would launch the new baked snack initiatives. Duties included hiring and managing 9 multi-craft mechanics and 1 automation specialist, developing and implementing maintenance systems to support 3 new production lines and managing the building construction and equipment installation with the general contractor and field engineer. Key achievements were on-time and under budget installations for all 3 production lines, successful onboarding and development of 10 maintenance personnel and record setting production rates for all 3 lines. Our maintenance team was selected to host a national workshop on how to drive reliability to record levels.
