My name is Christopher Heron, and I am passionate about computer science and business. However, teamwork, collaboration, and communication are arguably more important to me.In high school, I was unsure what I wanted to study in college. I loved math and problem-solving, but I wasn't aware of how to use these interests. I stumbled upon video game development in my Junior year and was enthralled by the process. It was the perfect intersection between creativity and critical thinking. However, I did not enjoy working on games by myself.​After starting at Washington University in St. Louis, I realized that I had found a passion in computer science. I decided to be a TA for my Intro to Computer Science course in the spring of my first year because of my passion. As a TA, I enjoyed working with students in a collaborative environment while communicating technical skills and concepts. I realized that it wasn't just the coding that intrigued me. It was working with others.Currently, I am finding a balance between my interests through my social and leadership positions in my school's club ultimate team and my personal software development projects.
