I am Christopher Herrera, and I am an aspiring Tech Consultant. Currently, I am studying Information Systems at Drexel University, where I will graduate with my Masters in 2026.As an aspiring Tech Consultant, I have developed my skill sets at Temple University, through relevant coursework and learning programming languages Javascript, MySQL, and Python. At Drexel University, I am taking courses such as Perspectives on Information Systems which gives me direct experience with examining various types of information systems and how these systems support activities of individuals and organizations, while courses like Introduction to Database Management emphasize concepts and techniques related to ER modeling and relational database systems, and hands-on experience in creating, using, and querying simple database applications using SQL. I also developed during my time pursuing my associate’s in business administration, I learned a solid foundation in business principles such as economics, management, accounting, and marketing. I developed problem-solving skills through coursework that included group projects and real-world applications. This program helped my understanding of strategic planning, decision-making, and organizational dynamics. While I pursue my studies, I continue to develop my programming skills by pursuing certifications in Amazon Web Services and Google.After graduation, I aim to join a professional services network as a Tech Consultant to work on providing high-value and trusted advice to clients, with a specific focus on business transformation programs. Ultimately, I want to use this experience to continue growing my knowledge in the IT field and growing internally within the company.
