I am a recent graduate of Software Engineering at Auburn University. In regards to software, my time in Auburn has granted me software developer experience geared towards full stack development through an internship and projects that I worked on throughout my time at Auburn University. However, Auburn was also the place where I learned how to work alongside a team through team conflict, how to mentor college students who came after me, and what it meant to work with purpose instead of just to "get by".These experiences did come from my time at Auburn University, but also through my last two years of working as a life coach to students in the Auburn area. Though it was not the normal career track, after graduating from Auburn University, my job as a life coach involved jobs such as mentoring students through using their major to live their life with purpose, counseling students through life at and after Auburn, and even exposing students to different cultures and lifestyles and challenging them to engage with people who were not the same as them and did not have the same life experiences, exchanging beliefs in a constructive and mutually uplifting way.
