Currento Road Export Transit Tax Projecto Senior project manager supporting the BPSA’s Head of Compliance, Assurance & Reporting to understand the Export Transit Tax process, the required supporting documentation and to identify gaps o Sourced and reconciled all historical Export Transit transaction documentation from 3rd parties.o Imported multiple large data tables from 3rd party systems into Microsoft SQL to create one centralized repository of data to be used for reporting purposes.o Engaged with 3rd parties to investigate potential solutions to process gaps identified during the analysis phase of the projecto Managed the engagements with the 3rd party audit and customs clearance service providers.o Prepared the monthly tax governance pre read presentations and managed the biweekly IMT Tax Activity Log meetings to ensure agreed timelines are meto HR Modernizationo Project managed the smooth transition of the HR payroll function from the previous structure to the new modernized HR structure from Cape Town to Johannesburgo Documented current HR Payroll Systems & processes to use in the Management of Change (MoC) of the current HR payroll staff to the new staff located in Johannesburgo Tracked the project progress tightly and continually monitored the emergence of any new risks and developed mitigation strategies to eliminate/limit the impact of potential risks associated with the transition.o Project Rose, Protea & Liono Senior project manager in the BP Commercial Optimization business unit supporting projects Rose, Protea and Lion, with focus on executing the BP strategy to exit/dispose of the operating terminals to reduce specifically the health and safety risks associated with these terminalso Develop project plans across legal & regulatory, IT&S, Finance, HSSE, Comms and HRo Identify risks, issues and develop master action lists o Data analysis and data modelling (Excel & Power BI)o Development of principles for the sale of business (SOB) agreement
