• Develop, teach and co-ordinate cohorts and subjects of the Dual Diploma of Food Science and Technology/Lab Technology and the Dual Cert IV in Food Science and Technology/Lab Techniques.• Deliver Units in the Certificate I/II/III of Food Processing to industry clients• Contribute to the development of current programs to meet and exceed student and employer expectation• Collaborate with Dairy Australia in the delivery of their webinar program and international study tours.• Liaise closely with clients within the program to ensure client educational needs are being met• Liaise closely with clients to ensure the requirements of their business and industry are included within the delivery• Manage e-learning activities at the Werribee campus

• Develop strategic and operational plans for the Faculty of Land and Food Resources, providing policy, advice, support, and quality assurance for IT services.• Manage a team of five staff to provide high quality and responsive IT support, locally-based on four campuses with off-site support to three external research centres.• Prepare and manage budgets for IT services and related IT projects.• Liaise with internal and external service providers regarding the delivery of existing services and scope of future requirements.• Represent the Faculty on central university projects and committees to ensure that centrally managed IT services provided for the business needs of our faculty. • Advise the General Manager and Faculty Executive on all IT related issues affecting the Faculty.• Liaise with the Marketing and Communication department for the design and management of online communication• Comply with all facets of University policy and procedures for environmental health and safety, staff performance development, privacy, and freedom of information.

• Develop strategic and operational plans for the Faculty of Land and Food Resources, providing policy, advice, support, and quality assurance for increasing the use of multimedia and online learning in education and training• Devise and deliver training to academic staff to improve their use of multimedia and online learning in education and training• Manage projects to develop multimedia resources for the enhancement of teaching and learning• Manage a team of two internet programmers to meet the multimedia needs of the Faculty • Represent the Faculty on central university projects and committees relating to the provision of educational services to students • Advise the General Manager and Associate Dean, Teaching and Learning, on technical advances and opportunities in educational delivery• Manage faculty and departmental websites, providing policy, advice and support relating to accessibility, usability, and copyright• Liaise with the Quality Manger to publish the Quality Manual for ISO9001 accreditation• Comply with all facets of University policy and procedures for environmental health and safety, staff performance development, privacy, and freedom of information

• Manage and coordinate staff and resources for the delivery of both TAFE and Graduate Diploma subjects• Budget, manage and coordinate staff and resources for specialised short courses• Prepare course accreditation documentation and course materials for on-campus and distance education students• Liaise with the diary factories and industry representatives, VCE students and teachers for VET in Schools, and community and industry groups• Manage the Gilbert chandler campus web site and the related intranet sites for students, postgraduates and staff• Anticipate new developments in new learning technologies, investigate their use in flexible delivery projects, and make recommendations to academic staff• Assist the faculty in determining policy for Multimedia and Distance Education• Manage commercial activities within the pilot factory, ensuring operations run to budget
