I am a public health nurse who specializes in emergency management and preparedness. Having come from a background in public health and emergency medicine, I moved to the planning and preparedness side of the house in order to be an advocate for nursing in preparedness activities. In the process, I became a subject matter expert on several other preparedness activities outside the medical sphere. My goal is to continue to take my nearly 11 years of experience traveling across the United States and applying the best practices I've learned to wherever I may serve next.
