▪ Contribute to the daily planning and production of BAE personnel carrier turrets, boat propeller jet ducts, WEIR Minerals centrifugal slurry pumps, Atlas Copco & Macmahons raise drills and Ford, Toyota, Holden and Electrolux press tools according to job/order specifications▪ Provide strong team/project leadership to up to 5 team members during peak workloads, including liaising with customers on a regular basis and delegating duties to ensure strict deadlines are met▪ Utilise AutoCAD to interpret technical drawings supplied by customers and Delcam software suites to design and create 3D models, transferring programs to CNC machines to produce 3D models▪ Set up and operate 3 & 5 axis CNC machining centres in an accurate, safe and timely manner▪ Comply with all company Safety Operating Procedures and conduct safety assessments on a range of machinery/equipment/tools to ensure risks and/or hazards are minimised▪ Measure and inspect all completed jobs and prepare dimensional reports to ensure Quality standards and customer/job/tolerance specifications are adhered to▪ Operate the forklift and 16T gantry crane to load, unload and turn over customer jobs▪ Train and mentor new apprentices, monitoring performance and providing feedback to enhance skill development▪ Apply superior analytical and problem solving skills to identify and resolve any faults/problems such as break downs▪ Foster a positive work environment by supporting and working harmoniously with colleagues and management
