I’m a creative video editor specializing in animation, but in my life-long passion for filmmaking, I have learned many other areas of the film industry. I've written, directed, filmed, and produced several of my own live action films, created one of the first live action web-video series (and sold it), and I'm currently using my filmmaking skills to promote pets in animal shelters to help them get adopted (hundreds rescued so far! @FurballTV on Instagram). These experiences have broadened my technical skill set and my ability to manage large projects and see the bigger picture of a production, which is extremely handy when helping creators & producers fulfill their grand visions. Because of this, I can quickly determine the production's needs from an editing standpoint. Does the show need a helping hand of creative input? No problem! Does it need more of a technical touch? Got it! No ego here! Since I've worked in all forms of animation (2D, CG, Stop Motion, 3D for rides at amusement parks), I can adapt quickly to any production situation.WHAT MAKES ME DIFFERENT: Because of my work on my own films, I relate extremely well with what the creative team is trying to accomplish. This translates into time/money saved because I can quickly get on the same page with the creators and help them achieve their desired outcome with very little communication, and I can point out potentially time/money saving options to achieve their goals.
