Establish a quality culture that is focused on making automotive safety devices with first time quality. Lead the facility in all quality aspects including new process and product launch, Supplier/Process/Customer Quality Engineering, Metrology, Lab Testing, and Inspection. Ensure effective quality standards are implemented to comply with ISO/TS16949, AIAG, B1QS and other industry requirements. Teach engineers, technicians, operators and inspectors about lean manufacturing, quality tools and walk them through continuous improvement processes. Work with engineering teams to establish a new production facility. Design the testing and metrology labs as well as purchase, install and qualify test equipment. Teach teams effective PFMEA analysis and process auditing to ensure risk mitigation.
