- Responsible for organising and developing a grasshopper script which would be used to design and size portal frame structures. These structures include cold formed, hot rolled and welded member design attempting to optimise the structure through a series of reports on the suitability of different sizes for the design.- Created a library and relevant Grasshopper components to automatically determine wind loading on a structure based on AS1170.2:2011.- Introduced the use of git as a version control tool and bug tracking to current internal processes.- Designed an export tool from Karamba3d in Grasshopper to Microstran allowing further engineer customisation for optimising the design.- Developed an Excel plugin that would be used to replace the previous manual process of transferring model data between Microstran model files.- Completed preliminary design analysis for a variety of sheds and carport type structures.

Casual research position provided by previous honours thesis supervisor to supplement the work completed during my final year of university. Developed a Rhino (3D modelling software) plugin that would allow users to develop and visualise the analysis process by adding interoperability with Matlab and the custom meshing program developed by past researchers. Communicated with other researchers on their requirements for the interface to develop and streamline the analysis process. Helped with the generalisation of the code in order to facilitate ease of use and reusability of the functions

- Developed in conjunction with the UK office a Dynamo Script that would read area plans and apply area loads to the floors as specified by the user.- Determined the feasibility of Dynamo as a method to calculate tributary loading from a Revit Model with applied loads.- Brought up to date the column shortening spreadsheet used by the Sydney office to calculate creep and shrinkage in structures by improving performance and to match recent changes in design standards. This was done through conversion of code from Visual Basic Script to C# along with the introduction of a matrix library for efficiency.- Digitised the formulas used in standards for use in Dynamo to help check designs of different part of concrete structures are accepted by the standards.- Worked as part of a team to model fabrication geometry of the Lachlan’s Line Pedestrian Bridge, a steel bridge to be erected over the M2 motorway using parametric tools to improve design efficiency.- Designed a fast centre of gravity analyser using Grasshopper for Rhino to find the centre of gravity for the lift of the separate bridge segments.
