About Christopher Hoff
I've been leading a small team of engineers over the past 7 years in the creation of a brand new mobile product line for Raytheon. The aim of the product is to bring situational awareness, reach-back to command centers, electronic field reporting, and real-time collaboration to the mobile, professional user. In the process, I've personally been awarded several patents in the creation of the product. I'm an expert C/C++ developer with extensive OpenGL and embedded experience. I've also worked with Java and JavaFX when developing the IT/Server management portion of the product. Most of my development experience has been in XCode, Android Studio, and Visual C++ (all of the mobile platforms excluding blackberry). Among my accomplishments include development of our own spherical earth, "Google Earth style" map engine, development of a network communications stack that is highly tolerant of low network bandwidth and high packet loss, and the creation of a platform independent, touch screen user interface for the "fat-fingered" user.
