As a keen multi disciplined cyclist, I naturally gravitated towards bike shops when first looking for work. In 2003 I was hired as a mechanic/sales assistant. I progressed to management and then opened my own store in Canterbury, Kent with a team of five. We held a reputation for high end custom builds including but not limited to Colnago, Intense, Envie, Time, Trek, Bianchi. Fixing problems our competitors couldn’t. I have a good understanding of mechanical engineering and thrived whilst resolving problems.

Assisting the store owner with general operations. Maintaining good relationships with customers, staff and suppliers.

Keeping up to date with the latest products, communicating the pros and cons of each so customers can be sure they are happy the product meets their requirements.Maintaining bicycles, and explaining the work required to complete the work, and why so the customer is aware and happy with the cost.
