Recently, Chris represented 1 of 8 wrongful death victims in a multi-district federal court litigation involving the Amtrak Train Wreck in Philadelphia resulting in a historic $265,000,000 global recovery. His accolades were recognized in the 2011-2023 issues of NY Law Journal “Top Verdicts” and “Top Settlements” including the 2022 highest result for a construction accident tort action in the Northeast United States [$24,750,000] according to ALM/Verdict Search.Chris is a member in the exclusive “Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.” The National Trial Lawyers also named Chris a “National Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Lawyer . He was selected as a New York "Super Lawyer" published in the NY Times. He serves as a Dean and on the board of directors for the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers, a statewide organization comprised of attorneys and members of the judiciary. Chris is a sought-after speaker on trial advocacy and annually lectures in a multi-city circuit throughout NY. Chris has had the pleasure of teaching as an adjunct professor in trial advocacy at St. John’s Law. Previously, he was a homicide prosecutor in the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office. During his tenure, he tried a multitude of jury trials to verdict with an astounding success rate. Among those verdicts were a number of high profile murder cases, which garnered significant media attention. Chris believes in giving back to the community through charitable organizations and is a chapter leader with Catholic Relief Services and involved with MADD, Water.org, American Cancer Society and local outreach and soup kitchens.
