CHRISTOPHER HORD joined YOUNG & Associates in 2018 as a Senior Consultant. Chris specialized in mitigation/reconstruction estimating and project management for four years while he was responsible for residential and commercial projects. Management responsibilities/experience include job estimating, project management, subcontractor negotiations, and employee mentoring. He is proficient in Xactimate and Symbility and has extensive experience writing scopes and estimates for multi-family and condominium properties for mitigation and reconstruction. Chris has accumulated a wide range of experience due to working on small and large projects. His strengths include being organized, detail-oriented, working under pressure, and the unique ability to recognize a problem, find a solution and set it into motion. Chris' passion for problem-solving allows him to thrive in environments where he can help people while seeing a project through to the end. He understands time is money, and to succeed, you must excel beyond expectation.
