Empowering rural educators through the development of high-quality online learning experiences that support their professional growth and accreditation within the MiCareer Rural Teacher Accreditation Hub.

At my position at the Center of Nonprofits and Philanthropy, I create online professional development certificate programs in Nonprofit Leadership and Social Justice, and Fundraising. I also collaborate with Professors, SMEs, the ID design team, and third party stakeholders to build a ten module Career Development course on for recent graduates of the Ameri-corp volunteer program.My duties for theses assignments included designing and developing course templates and creating content in Canvas. Training professors and SMEs on how to use best practices in instructional design for online learning. I produced and edited instructional videos using various editing tools like Descript and Camtasia to convey complex topics in a clear and concise way so that the class participants could immediately implement the content in their workplaces. I used Articulate Storyline and Rise to create interactive learning elements to engage learners in the courses. I was responsible for ensuring that the courses are ADA and copyright compliant. In addition, I managed the participant feedback, and completion reports.

At my position within the Bush School, worked in the Office of Extended Education and with the Center of Nonprofits and Philanthropy to help create online professional development certificate programs in Nonprofit Leadership and Social Justice, which focused on inclusion, diversity and equity. I also collaborated with Professors, SMEs, the ID design team, and third party stakeholders to build an eight module course on childcare business training, that was grant funded through the Collaborative for Children, and the Texas Workforce Commission.My duties for theses assignments included designing and developing course templates and creating content in Canvas. Training professors and SMEs on how to use best practices in instructional design for online learning.
