-Performed an energy balance on the rotary drum dryer to track fuel efficiency. Moving forward I implemented this calculation into an Excel file able to track efficiency and give estimated material flow rates as well as the theoretical fuel required -Redesigned a hopper at the dryer inlet to reduce a constant problem of material compaction which in turn led to production delays. This improved employee morale, employee safety, equipment functionality, and overall production efficiency. -Consolidated and organized the existing Excel documents for the maintenance department. Then, I implemented Microsoft Forms to automate and filter quotes. Featuring the ability to track monthly and yearly spending to view the remaining budget. -Gained insights into project management and practical applications of engineering concepts, as well as facilitated communication with vendors to obtain quotes for project materials as well as building lasting relationships for the future.
