.Responsible for the safety, security and driving of a senior Whitehall official in his role as Deputy Chief of Defence Staff (Operations). .Manage the Generals timekeeping to ensure he reaches all destinations and engagements in good time and fully briefed on the location, personnel and any additional information. .Conduct a full and detailed reconnaissance of all routes to ensure maximum safety, situational awareness and punctuality. .Maintain the vehicle and ensure it is roadworthy at all times..Working with a multitude of high ranking officials across the Whitehall spectrum from Heads of State, MPs and Military hierarchy.

•Effective and successful management of personnel on a daily basis, including personal and professional, training and pastoral care•Training for a variety of role specific tasks requiring an in depth technical knowledge and diligence•Leadership of personnel on combat operations in Iraq, in an extremely high pressure environment•Command responsibility of a team including training, pastoral care and personal development.Operational tours of Kosovo, Bosnia and Iraq as a reconnaissance operator within a team•Driving and Maintenance Instructor
