Chris' career has spanned IT and finance in the public, private and voluntary sectors.In his early years, Chris worked in IT system development, working on a range of systems across different industries, most notably scientific, technological and financial. He later went on to manage an international team developing IT systems to support global research and development.In 2000 Chris was introduced to credit unions in the UK and he founded two credit unions, taking on the roles of president, treasurer, and from 2012 to 2018 he managed Kent Savers Credit Union.Chris has also undertaken a range of voluntary roles in the community, acting often as secretary or treasurer, in charities, beneficial organisations and campaign groups.Chris has a degree in Mathematics and is a qualified Accounting Technician.Specialties: Project management, credit union operation, accounting, bookkeeping, writing, editing, proofreading.
