Responsible for ensuring Total Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance. Deliver training for new and/or existing employees as appropriate. Ensure all training is carried out and conducted in a manner and at appropriate frequencies to comply with statutory, regulatory, corporate, and internal mandated requirements. Conduct facility audits using company approved audit process. Facilitate resolution to any compliance issues that may be found during audit processes. Observe safe work practices, and present opportunities for improvement. Conduct incident/near-hit investigations and root cause analysis. Coordinate Incident Review Board meeting to determine, define, and implement corrective and preventive action measures. Procure all personal protective equipment, safety signage, first aid supplies, and other equipment related to heath and safety. Identify all waste streams at the facility, maintain waste profiles, and STEERS. Complete annual SARA report. Maintain HS&E records electronically and report to corporate office.

Assemble equipment from blueprints and verbal instructions. Identify location of components that will be placed in cabinets. Perform point to point wiring and routing of wire/cable by following schematics. Perform and train on complex mechanical assembly and/or electrical assembly tasks according to established procedures. Use and train on hand tools and power tools. Ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints, wire lists, etc. and to print drawings and build of materials (BOMs). Work with; help train on the job, and provide classroom training for less experienced workers. Fill out necessary records such as timecards, material issue tickets, Corrective Action Requests (CARS), and Preventive Action Requests (PARS). Work with assemblers to maintain work areas in a clean and orderly manner. Initiate action to prevent occurrence of nonconformity, and identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and quality system. Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.Report problems to supervisor, manager, plant manager, and production manager. Have a general overview of the National Oilwell Varco Quality program. Comply with all NOV Company and HSE procedures and policies
