Design and development of a non-obtrusive personal air purification system to mitigate inhalation of airborne particles.4. Design and enhancement of a novel mechanical optical clearing technology to further enable functional near infrared spectroscopy.Co-inventor on multiple technologies related to above projects.

Received Post-Baccalaureate Intramural Research Training Award fellowship (Postbac IRTA). Helped execute clinical studies at the NIDDK with patients. Primary focus of respsonsibilities resided in areas with technical-clinical overlap (i.e., devices and instrumentation, data analysis, report generation, technical communications, etc.)

• Participated in literature research concerning (i) Hydroxyapatite involving surface modification and its use for bone regeneration, stimulation, and strengthening. Incorporating relevance of calcifying nanoparticles and (ii) Pathological calcification in the body (i.e. structural components/relationship with biological apatite).• Perform various tests related to lab and literature research.

• Instructed class of ages U-14 how to successfully design, construct, and program robots to perform given tasks. Incorporated troubleshooting, statics, physics, and other related material.
