Since joining Edmund Optics, my focus has been on pioneering manufacturing process improvements and overseeing the complex transition of our coating equipment into our brand new cutting-edge facility. This role capitalizes on my specialized knowledge in optical coatings and my certified project management skills to enhance system performance and reliability. Thin film coating has been my life for the past 25 years specialzing in electron beam, thermal and ion assisted deposition techniques, process, automation, coating design, film characterization, metrology, and inspection. Proficient in the evaporation of oxides, flourides, and metallics with strong emphasis on High Laser Damage coatings.
