 Manage a team of four employees to grow our account to the largest in the region out of 195 stores and the second largest government account in the entire company.  Grew sales 316% during a global pandemic from $3,370,000 in 2019 to $14,045,000 in 2021. Helped secure and coordinate bi-monthly deliveries of PPE and disinfectant products to 180 schools since the inception of Covid-19.  Landed the largest lighting deal in company history ($7 million over 15 years.) Continually work with vendors to secure special pricing agreements and lock in future prices to battle price increases the market is facing from inflation and tariffs. Meticulously source products Fastenal traditionally does not provide in order to increase sales and continue to develop a stronger relationship with our customer. Implemented new inventory controls to reduce our store’s inventory by 21% ($115,000.) Collaborate with the customer’s buyers to identify any weaknesses in their business and proposed innovative ways we can assist them to further develop our working relationship.

 Selected by the newly appointed general manager (over candidates with three times as much tenure at Fastenal) to co-develop/service the first school district sales account in the company’s 50-year history. (District is 10th largest in the U.S. serving 180 schools and 186,600 students.)  Grew sales by 37% ($910,000) from year one to year two.  Communicated effectively to initiate/receive client requests and execute the sourcing process.  Prepared/sent vendor bid requests, analyzed responses, negotiated pricing/selected vendors.  Prepared/executed purchase orders, tracked orders to ensure timely delivery, verified invoices.  Communicated progress and results to the general manager, maintained a positive team attitude and leadership role on the sourcing project team, and monitored product inventory levels.

 Provided outstanding customer sales and service at the Jupiter location.  Assisted the sales effort at five locations in three counties and helped consolidate two facilities.  Placed and fulfilled orders, deftly managed inventory, and made local sales calls. Achieved the highest score in the 11/2016 Fastenal Southeast Training class in Atlanta, Georgia.
