• Developed C/C++ firmware for IBM Z16 and Power10 processors, specifically for embedded microprocessors utilized for poweron. Features developed include processor power-on procedures, HSIO SerDes BIST functionality, Vital Product Data handling for chip and system, and SPI control for on-module EEPROMs.• Handled the development and execution of functional tests and procedures for the multiple processor IO bus designs.• Performed structural design analysis with Cadence tools to augment test coverage of faults in scan-design. Read through source VHDL to give design enhancement requests to the hardware designers.
