I am U.S. Air Force veteran with over two decades of technical military expertise where I have thrived in instructional, supervisory, and mentorship roles and honed invaluable skills such as active listening, resource navigation/allocation, and cultural competency. Now, as I transition out of the military, I am eager to leverage these experiences to empower others in their personal and professional journeys.My professional trajectory has ignited a passion for guiding and supporting individuals, propelling me towards a career as an educator and counselor. Currently pursuing a M.ED in Military and Veterans Counseling, I am driven by the desire to make a positive impact in the mental health field, particularly for active military personnel, veterans, and their families.I am deeply enthusiastic about utilizing my diverse skill set and background to contribute to the well-being of those navigating life's challenges.
