Manage call outs, provide input with staff on questions and concerns, check data to make sure filled in correctly. Manage the community based program recreation program with another staff. Instructed higher functioning adults with disabilities and developed lesson plans on budgeting, banking accounts, healthy shopping and following their doctor’s recommendations.Coached higher functioning adults with disabilities to increase their social opportunities and community engagement through participation in local cultural events, career fairs, and structured social groups. Developed IEP goals and tracked progress towards them for twelve clients per year.Reviewed clients’ goals and progress toward them with the Medicaid Service Coordinator at semi- and annual meetings. Helped clients to identify potential employment and housing opportunities, and assisted with preparation for interviews.
