As an accomplished Architect currently based in Auckland, my career has spanned many continents and cultures. My professional journey began in Wellington, where I studied Architecture at Victoria University, achieving a Bachelor of Architecture with First Class Honours in 2001. A quest for adventure led me to London, where I honed my skills through a diverse range of projects, from city-scale masterplans in Russia to boutique retail outlets in historic Bath. While in the UK, I was deeply involved in masterplanning and urban design, gaining invaluable experience before transitioning to lead design teams on mixed-use, retail, and lifestyle projects. This role allowed me to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of architects, planners, urban designers, landscape designers, and branding specialists, among others.I spent time working in offices in Dubai, New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, with project experience in diverse locations such as Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Syria, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Bulgaria, and Hawaii. This exposure has enriched my portfolio, which includes single-family and multi-unit residential projects, retail fit-outs, retail centres, anchor stores, mixed-use buildings, offices, and hospitality projects, as well as urban design, planning, and landscape design.I have cultivated a broad spectrum of conceptual design skills, backed by proven technical expertise and a successful track record in project delivery. My interests lie in emerging technologies, regenerative design, smart growth, and urbanism. My core competencies include Architectural Design, Urbanism, Masterplanning, Mixed-Use, Commercial, Retail, Residential (both multi & single-family), Sustainable and Regenerative Design. These areas of focus reflect my commitment to creating sustainable, functional, and beautiful spaces.
