CurrentAs Co-Founder and Managing Director of Risk 1, Chris Jeffrey is tasked with oversight of all company operations. Through Chris’ leadership, Risk 1 is a successful EHS and Risk Management consulting firm, providing services to blue chip companies and a large number of SMEs around the world. Chris holds a BS in Industrial Security and Environmental Science and an MS in Environmental Analysis. He has also earned Graduate Certifications in Lean Manufacturing from Villanova (LSSBB) and Registration in Environment Health and Safety from the University of Alabama (REM). Chris began his professional career as an EHS compliance coordinator for a Fortune 500, and has continued working across multiple sectors and disciplines throughout his career, covering every role within EHS. With 25+ years in the field of Risk Management, Chris has a wealth of experience as a Certified Risk Manager (CRM). Registered as an Environmental, Health and Safety manager, Chris now specializes in EHS&S system development and overall risk management, focusing on design, development, implementation and sustainability of EHS&S programs tailored to meet the needs of his clients. An experienced health and safety trainer and public speaker, Chris contributes to a number of health and safety publications. He regularly presents Team Building Programs across the US and has been involved in the production of health and safety documents for trade associations, as well as the Health and Safety Executive.
