The creative industries are my field of work, teaching, mentoring and play. A designer, animator, director and manager in the design, publishing, and animation fields. I'm a published author and illustrator of stacks of books and publications—with 4 titles coming out in 2025.I love the click of a keyboard. The clunk of the printing press. The laughter of a movie theater or the light in the eyes of a child at the things I've been involved in making.I am a collaborator at heart. An encourager. A team builder.As assistant animation director on Amazon Prime's “undone,” seasons one and two, we built an animation process from the ground up. I returned to Richard Linklater’s world on “Apollo 10 1/2” as assistant head of the character animation unit. Both projects are rotoscope, meshing the hand of the artist with the performance of the actor and were, therefore, bespoke pipelines.As a visual storyteller, I am the author and illustrator of “WHOA PANDA!” (2025) and the "Pet Shop Racers" 3-book graphic novel series from Disney • Hyperion (2025). I’ve also illustrated over 24 titles for children, with more to come!I love speaking, mentoring, and teaching. The larger the audience, the more fun. Regardless of the size, watching a face light up from discovering a new idea or answer gives me a spark.
