Currently:I just finished 6 months in Aurizon's Rollingstock Design team at the Brisbane office and it was a great experience! Some of the highlights/learnings from this rotation include, gaining an advanced knowledge in rollingstock registration and compliance (which involves technical, communication and project management skills), design of modifications/conversions of several rollingstock classes and technical support in two large design and acquisition programs. Next is VTE (Vehicle and Track Engineering) where I have begun this highly technical, train dynamics engineering rotation with time spent testing trains in Townsville and analyzing and reporting on results. To be continued...Overview:I am currently accruing a diverse range of engineering experience and skills within Aurizon's graduate rotation program. It is my ambition to complete this program and progress into a higher level engineering position and make the most of the guidance and responsibilities I have been offered to hone my skills and competencies in a specific field of engineering and make a valuable contribution to the team and the greater community.I have rotated through :- Fleet Performance and Strategies- Structural and Mechanical Systems- Queensland Field Support- Western Australia Field Support- Rollingstock Design- Vehicle and Track EngineeringI have a keen interest in mechanical design, steel structures, maintenance and systems engineering.Experience:- Steel structure design- Finite element analysis- In-service testing of rollingstock- Failure mode investigation- Technical maintenance/repair
Listed skills include Engineering, Hydraulics, Pumps, Mechanical Engineering, and 12 others.
