My role is to ensure that the building regs, Premier Guarantee & LABC Technical manual's are followed in and around my catchment area. My work is home based where I complete thorough investigation of architectural, engineering and technical drawings prior to attending sites. My key areas of inspection begin at foundation level followed by basement waterproofing, drainage, sub structure, concrete slabs, external superstructure, internal electrics both 1st & 2nd fix, cladding, fire stopping, blue, green & brown roofs and access and egress in the event of an emergency. Throughout these inspections stages I liaise with architects, engineers, project managers, building surveyors and fire consultants, all with the aim of ensuring the occupants are safe within the buildings when in use; and that the building withstands the test of time once complete.

My role as site manager at Bouygues consisted of the overall management of project works, from site inception, to handover including; site installation, inductions, procurement, co-ordination and the overall management and control of all subcontractors. I deal with tendering, budget management, payments, health & safety inspections, reviewing and analysing site drawings. Other day to day duties where quantity take offs, communicate and co-ordinate with both client and consultants to agree on design issues and client requirements, management of the H&S filling such as keeping an up to date CDM, site installation drawings, fire and traffic management, insurances, quality control and quality assurance QVF’s, licences, waste management environmental management and the overall site running documents.
