I supervise a team of math and English tutors across Lake Shore, Matthew Gilbert, and Alfred DuPont middle schools. I personally work with students in small groups, helping to remediate targeted ELA standards. I also oversee larger pullout sessions for 20-30 algebra students, ensuring effective tutoring and academic support.

I tutored students on an online platform using the Socratic method to enhance their academic independence. Aside from live tutoring sessions, I also helped students as an essay reviewer by checking for plagiarism and major grammatical errors, and provided inquiry-based feedback to improve their writing proficiency.

I supported a mix of elementary and middle school students in improving reading comprehension and developing study and organizational skills, fostering a passion for learning. These sessions were conducted remotely and focused on subject material, study skills, homework assistance, and general mentoring. I also regularly collaborated with parents to align on learning goals and create actionable plans for student success.

Proudly served one year as a student success coach at the Leadership Academies of Eugene J. Butler, performing academic, behavioral, and attendance-based interventions to encourage ELA and social-emotional growth with a focus list of 19 students. Met the goal of providing each student with 600 minutes of intervention time. Additionally, served my team as an Evaluation Coordinator, responsible for monitoring and logging data on student growth. Starting in August of 2019, I served as a Service Leader at George Washington Carver Elementary, performing the duties of a student success coach, now in mathematics, while also leading a team of 5 other coaches in their duties.

Ensured positive customer service experiences, facilitated sales, managed the photography development, and maintained the sales floor.

Mentored students in enhancing essay planning and writing skills for college-level performance. Assisted students in developing organizational and problem-solving skills, and effectively planning academic activities under tight deadlines. Also supported library staff by maintaining and stocking bookshelves.
