He was part of a legal team representing the plaintiff in the Supreme Court case Trevorrow v State of South Australia (no 5) [2007] SASC 285. In a precedent setting case involving the removal of an Indigenous Australian child from his family, the State was found to have breached its duty of care, committed misfeasance in public office and to have falsely imprisoned Bruce Trevorrow.
