Technical Multi-line Wordings ManagerResponsible for dealing with casualty, professional indemnity and all cross classes wordings and liaising with underwriters, lawyers and business managers as required. Attended committed meetings for the IUA (included involvement in electronic broking)Key AchievementsRan a Legacy Project which involved clearing c.25,000 wordings over two years. Completed the project early in 18 months.Put in place a multi-line and cross class wording and added a contents page which made it much clearer for brokers/clients to understandEnsured that Contract Certainty for legacy and current business was kept up to date at all times, and that all required deadlines were met. Also was a member of the Contract Certainty committee.Set up and chaired a Wordings Technical meeting which included all wordings managers and technicians within Zurich. This met once a month and is still in place today.Together with one of the lawyers set up a training course on the legal aspects of insurance, which ran 3-4 times every year; recent ones were attended by over 60 underwriters.Run the ‘Wednesday Club’, which meets c.4 times a year for networking purposes, and is attended by up to 100 market brokers and underwriters.Was invited from time to time to help out with other wordings teams including the Motor, Property, Energy and Construction teams.Amended all Global wordings for each divisions and arranged to include on new Website.
