About Christopher Jonathan

Christopher Jonathan is the Co-Founder of Lakes. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities in 2019, supervised by Prof. Mohamed F. Mokbel. His research interests are in the fields of Databases and Data Management Systems. He received his Master's of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Cornell University in 2014 and a BS degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota in 2013. His main research interest is in the area of big data management system, and currently, he is focused on providing a more efficient crowdsourcing framework. His work was awarded the second place in Best Vision Paper in SSTD 2017 and as one of the finalists in ACM SIGMOD 2017 Student Research Competition.
