BEM (Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa) is an organization dedicated to fostering the growth of students at Petra Christian University and overseeing extracurricular activities within PCU. I am honored to have been entrusted with the role of Vice Head of Information Systems within the BEM organization. Our mission, within the Information Systems department, is to develop systems that facilitate both internal and external activities of the organization. For instance, this involves creating websites to streamline bureaucratic processes within our university and enhancing administrative tasks within the organization.Building on the success of our previous implementation of CodeIgniter during the Student Orientation Committee, this year, the Information Systems team within BEM will be utilizing frameworks for both backend and frontend development, specifically Laravel and ReactJS. Additionally, I am setting our sights on expanding our department's capabilities to develop mobile applications that can assist the organization in its endeavors. These advancements reflect our commitment to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.

During this year's Student Orientation, I was entrusted with the role of Sub-Coordinator within the IT Division. In this capacity, I am immensely thankful to my Coordinator, fellow Sub-Coordinator, and all the dedicated members of the IT Division for affording me the opportunity to continuously enhance myself both personally and professionally.This year brought about significant structural reforms within the IT Division. We embarked on a journey to elevate our standards, transitioning away from native PHP to adopt frameworks and other libraries for improved functionality. I am delighted to report that we successfully implemented CodeIgniter as the foundation of our framework, and we also integrated Google Client Login into our website. These advancements represent significant milestones in our commitment to excellence.

Bharatika is a prestigious international event celebrating art and culture, and I am delighted to be a member of the IT Division for Bharatika 2023. The responsibility of the IT Division in this grand art and cultural event is to establish a platform that facilitates competition registration, creates promotional materials, and manages competition submissions.Given the artistic nature of this event, meeting the demands for aesthetics poses a significant challenge in the development of this website. Consequently, we are compelled to invest considerable effort in researching and enhancing our front-end development capabilities to meet the high standards expected.

Building on the legacy of Petra Chess Competition 2022, I have been honored with the responsibility of serving as the Secretary for the Petra Chess Competition 2023. This role has been instrumental in my personal and professional growth, as it has exposed me to various facets including management, bureaucracy, data analytics, and leadership. As the secretary, I have closely collaborated with the program's leader to guide and steer our committee.I extend my gratitude to my dedicated team and the entire committee for their unending commitment, which resulted in the successful execution of Petra Chess Competition 2023. Without the collective efforts of our committee members and partners, this program would not have achieved such remarkable success.

LKMM-TD (Leadership, Knowledge, and Management Training for Students) represents the ongoing phase of Student Orientation at Petra Christian University, emphasizing the cultivation of essential soft skills among students, including leadership and management. I take great pride in being an active member of the LKMM-TD committee, an experience that has enriched my understanding of teamwork, organizational skills, and project management, all on a larger and more complex scale.Within the IT Division, our responsibilities encompassed resource allocation through the management of the website, attendance tracking, and various other internal processes. I am sincerely grateful to both my team and my leader for their invaluable support and guidance throughout this event.
